John Mellencamp

John Mellencamp is an American songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist, writer, and film director. He is best known for his hits such as “Jack & Diane”, “Pink Houses” and “Small Town”. Over the course of his career, John has sold over 40 million albums worldwide and impressed millions more with his music. In 2008 he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his remarkable contributions to the music industry. In addition to being one of the founding members of Farm Aid in 1985 and recognized by The Kennedy Center Honors in 2019, John was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008. Active since 1976 with 26 albums released to date including major hits like Amercia’s Suitehearts and Cherry Bomb, it’s no surprise that John ‘s influence has been around for decades inspiring the music we hear today.
