Collective Soul

Collective Soul have been rocking out since 1993 and are renowned for their dynamic sound of alternative rock with a hint of funk. Led by frontman Ed Roland, the formation of Collective Soul began at his Georgia house where he performed most nights for guests, inspiring eventual band members Dean Roland, Will Turpin, and Ross Childress to join the act. The band had immediate success with their first big hit ‘Shine’, becoming No. 1 on US Rock Charts and earning them two Billboard Music Awards and numerous MTV Video Music nominations. Over their three-decade career, Collective Soul have released 46 singles taken from ten albums across different genres such as rock, blues and even country. In 2017 they released an acoustic album ‘See What You Started by Continuing’ that was certified Gold in the US – propelling them to the top spot in the Christian Albums chart! Some classic hits remain fan favorites such as ‘The World I Know’ (1996) which won them yet another Billboard Music Award and ‘December’ (1999) which has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards.
