Chicago

Chicago is an American rock band that has been around for over 50 years. Formed in 1967 by Walter Parazaider, James Pankow, Lee Loughnane, Terry Kath and Robert Lamm, the group pioneered a new sound combining rock and roll with jazz instrumentation. Their first album ‘Chicago Transit Authority’ released in 1969 had numerous hit singles including “Questions 67 and 68,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?,” and “Beginnings.” Many other classic albums followed including Chicago 16 (1982) which included their biggest hit to date “Hard to Say I’m Sorry.” Throughout their career they have won two Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and one Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than 35 studio albums, dozens of singles and many sold-out world tours, Chicago remains at the top of their class in popular music today almost 50 years later!
