Queen

Queen is perhaps one of the most iconic bands of all time. Founded by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, and Roger Taylor in 1971, their distinct sound has earned them many awards and accolades over the years. Such honors include being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, winning a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, 24 Ivor Novello Awards, and 6 Grammy Award nominations. In addition to these accolades Queen boasts a few of the best rock songs ever written as “We Will Rock You”, “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Bohemian Rapsody” have become timeless classics loved by fans across generations. To this day almost 50 years after their founding Queen remains an influence in both music style and culture with their hits still widely popular.
