Lionel Richie is an iconic musical artist who has graced the music industry for over five decades. Initially part of ‘The Commodores’, he achieved widespread critical and commercial success as a solo artist in the 1980s, churning out hit singles like “All Night Long (All Night),” “Say You, Say Me,” and his duet with Diana Ross, “Endless Love.” For this body of work, Lionel Richie has gained immense recognition from the world of music including Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for a variety of his songs. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994 and was honoured with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010. Beyond that, he also won the Grammy Legend Awards in 1990 before eventually bagging four Grammy Awards; one for Album Of The Year in 1984 and three for Record Of The Year between 1986-87. In sum, Lionel Richie remains an evergreen force in music even to this day.
