Darius Rucker
Darius Rucker is an American singer and songwriter known for his incredible success in the country music genre. He started his career as the lead singer of Hootie & the Blowfish, who quickly became famous for their hits such as ”Hold My Hand” and ”Let Her Cry”. After the band went on a hiatus, Darius successfully shifted to a solo artist, garnering numerous awards and hit songs such as “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It”, “Alright” and “It Won’t Be Like This For Long”. His achievements were rewarded with three Grammy Awards, four CMA Awards and four Academy of Country Music awards. Additionally, he was made a member of The Grand Ole Opry in 2012. Whether it be as part of a band or as a solo artist, Darius has continued to delight fans with his unique blend of country and folk music.
