Daft Punk, the iconic French duo, has been a driving force in the music industry since their debut album in 1997. Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have made quite a name for themselves over the years, with impressive awards and accolades under their belt. They’ve won five Grammy awards and seven MTV Video Music Awards, as well as several others. Internationally renowned hits from their six studio albums are recognizable everywhere, from “Get Lucky” to “One More Time” and of course the magnum opus of “Around The World.” They have firmly established themselves in music lore at this point, so no proper conversation about electronic music is complete without giving respect to Daft Punk!
