Charlie Wilson
Charlie Wilson, born in 1953, is the epitome of a successful musician. He began his career in music as part of the funk band The Gap Band, while also finding solo success in the ’80s. He has since sold more than 10 million records and earned three Grammy Award nominations throughout his lifetime. Charlie has had many hits to his name such as “Outstanding”, “You Dropped the Bomb on Me”, and “Burn Rubber”. His smooth voice has also been recognized by The BET Awards and Soul Train Music Awards with award wins for Best Male R&B/Soul Album and Classic Soul Male Vocalist of Year respectively. It is easy to say that Charlie Wilson is one of music’s most timeless legends.
